The Manitoba Moose begin their quest for the Calder Cup on Monday.
The Winnipeg Jets’ American Hockey League affiliate released its training camp schedule Friday. On-ice sessions are the MTS Iceplex through next Friday and are open to the public.
The Moose then amble across the border for two long-weekend pre-season games with the Minnesota Wild’s Iowa affiliate on Saturday evening at Scheels Arena in Fargo and Sunday afternoon at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.
The club opens the regular season Oct. 14, lining up against the somewhat familiar Iowa Wild at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
