Hey there, time traveller!

All lanes of the south Perimeter Highway were reopened Sunday evening after a multiple-vehicle collision shut down part of the highway just west of the intersection with St. Anne’s Road Sunday afternoon, according to the RCMP.
Police were called to the site at about 1:10 p.m., said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Julie Courchaine.
RCMP believe the incident began when a semi-trailer truck hit a tow truck that was pulling another vehicle out of a ditch.
At least four other vehicles were involved in the “chain reaction type of collision,” Courchaine said.
Multiple people were transported to hospital, but Courchaine was unable to provide information about the extent of their injuries.
RCMP don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the incident, Courchaine added. Ice may have been a contributing factor, she said.
