A third suspect has been arrested and charged in relation to a February death in the North End.

Canon Franklin Beardy, 28, was found in the 500 block of Magnus Avenue on Feb. 6 suffering from multiple serious injuries and taken to hospital. He later died as a result of those injuries.

On Thursday, Winnipeg police arrested Joshua Leclerc, 20, of Winnipeg, and charged him with second-degree murder and breach of recognizance.

Previously, a 14-year-old male and 16-year-old male were arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The older teen was also charged with flight from a peace officer and possession of proceeds of crime.
