The Winnipeg Jets claimed a 3-1 win against the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center tonight.
Mathieu Perreault scored from the right circle with a high, hard shot past Wild goal Devan Dubnyk at 16:26 of the period while Minnesota’s Jason Zucker was off for elbowing.
Winnipeg has a 17-10 advantage in shots on goal through the first 40 minutes of goalie Connor Hellebuyck’s first NHL game.
