A new police campaign is appealing to the public for leads to assist families of missing and murdered persons in Manitoba.

Called Project Devote, the campaign will involves placing posters featuring missing and murdered persons on the sides of Winnipeg Transit buses over a four-week period.

“Can you help find my killer?” ask posters featuring homicide victims from the 1980s and 90s. Do you know who killed me? asks a poster featuring homicide victims from 2001 – 2009.

Help bring them home, is the title on a poster featuring missing persons from 1972 – 2008.

Project Devote is a joint campaign by Winnipeg police and the RCMP.

Police remind the public that each of these victims is sorely missed by parents, sibling, children and friends.
