Street shut down: Selkirk Avenue remained closed in both directions between McKenzie and Parr streets this morning after a fire at a rooming house in the 700 block of Selkirk, on the north side, Tuesday night. It’s expected the building will be demolished today.

Nearly 40 killed: The death toll from a bridge collapse in Genoa, a city in northern Italy, has increased to 39, officials say.

Set to search: A coordinated search by volunteers for missing woman Diane Bignell is slated to take place in Thompson. She was last seen in mid-May.
