President Donald Trump holds up the executive order he signed to end family separations at the border on Wednesday.

Talking ‘tough’: U.S. President Donald Trump defended his immigration policies at a rally in Duluth, Minn., Wednesday night, hours after he signed an executive order to stop separating migrant parents from their children. “We’re going to keep families together, and the border is going to be just as tough as it’s been,” he told the cheering crowd. Trump narrowly lost Minnesota to Hillary Clinton in 2016, and this was his first rally in a blue state since taking office. READ MORE

Compromise bill before Congress: The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote today on two immigration bills, one a compromise that’s the product of negotiations between conservative and moderate Republicans, and another favoured by hardline GOP members. The former is considered a long shot to pass, while the latter is expected to fail.

The Free Press correspondent at British headquarters in Germany reported that Adolf Hitler, Eva Braun and Joseph Goebbels were believed to have died by injection of poison, in the bunker where they had sheltered from Russian bombardment.
