A suspect is in custody following an assault in downtown Winnipeg overnight.
The attack happened at approximately 3 a.m. in the area of Main Street and the Henry Avenue crosswalk.
Two people, a man and a woman, were assaulted and taken to hospital.
The woman received minor injuries and was released. The male victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition.
Police are investigating the incident.
