Jets dominate Avalanche in 5-0 victory

The Winnipeg Jets put forth one of their best efforts of the season in a 5-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at Canada Life Centre Tuesday night.

Blake Wheeler led the way with a hat trick and an assist for a four-point night, with Mark Scheifele and Josh Morrissey rounding out the scoring for the home side. Connor Hellebuyck stopped all 40 shots for his third shutout of the season.

With the win, the Jets improved to 14-6-1, while the Avalanche fall to 12-7-1.
