ST. PAUL — Is a comeback in the cards for the Winnipeg Jets?

They dug themselves a deep early hole tonight in St. Paul, with the Minnesota Wild taking a 3-0 lead early in the second period off goals from Mason Shaw, Calen Addison and Marcus Foligno.

But Kyle Connor gave the Jets some hope when he scored his sixth of the season midway through the middle frame.

Shots are 28-19 for the Wild through 40 minutes.
