Five people were taken to hospital in stable condition this morning after a vehicle collided with a school bus near the corner of Notre Dame Avenue and Banning Street.

 

A small sedan rear-ended the bus in the eastbound lane of Notre Dame. The crash occurred at about 8:45 a.m.

While police didn’t specify whether the victims were children, the Winnipeg School Division confirmed in the afternoon four students had been treated by paramedics and taken to hospital as a precaution..
