By the time Friday’s weather rolls in, you won’t even remember what it was like outside today.

That’s probably a good thing, as Environment Canada is calling for another cold day across southern Manitoba, including Winnipeg. The national weather service is calling for a mix of sun and cloud with a slight chance of flurries in the city, with a high of -15 C. The wind chill this morning is around the -39 mark, rising up to -28 this afternoon.

Tonight, look for a few clouds and a low of -27 C.

Conditions should start to improve on Thursday, with sunshine and a high of -9 C forecast.

Temperatures are expected to climb to or above seasonal values on Friday through the weekend, with daytime highs reaching -3 C on Saturday.

The normal high for this time of year is -4 C.
