East St. Paul RCMP now say injuries to two drivers were minor after two pickup trucks collided late Thursday afternoon on Highway 59 between Dunning and Garven roads.
RCMP say they responded to reports of the crash in the northbound lane about 4:45 p.m.
The investigation revealed that the westbound pickup truck attempted to cross Highway 59 at Dunning when it was struck by a northbound pickup.
The two drivers, a 48-year-old and a 42-year-old, were transported to hospital. Both were released last night.
Alcohol was not considered a factor and both men were wearing seatbelts, RCMP say.
