An area around the new downtown police headquarters was temporarily cordoned off Friday after a suspicious looking package was found.
It turned out to be a false alarm after the police’s bomb unit determined the package was safe.
A passerby notified police after noticing the package in the area of Graham Avenue and Garry Street.
