A flight from Dubai headed to Dallas landed in Winnipeg early Monday morning when a passenger needed medical attention.
The Emirates Airlines flight diverted to Winnipeg at about 8 a.m., when the pilot decided emergency measures needed to be taken.
A spokesman for the Winnipeg Airports Authority said the condition of the passenger is unknown, but they were taken to hospital for examination.
The flight is expected to continue on its original route to Dallas later today once the plane is completely refuelled.
