A driver in a motor vehicle collision Friday evening on the Perimeter Highway, one kilometre north of Portage Avenue, is in critical condition.
RCMP say a semi truck not pulling a trailer lost control and hit another vehicle, a 2003 Audi, then rolled two or three times.
The collision occurred at about 5:45 p.m., and road conditions were poor due to a very recent heavy rainfall.
The occupants of the semi-truck were taken to Health Sciences Centre. The 49-year-old male driver from Île-des-Chênes was listed in critical condition. The passenger, a 22-year-old male from Gimli, is in stable condition.
There were no injuries to the occupant of the Audi. Two dogs in the semi truck also received minor injuries.
