Winnipeg police are investigating a double shooting in the North End from early Saturday morning.
Two people were taken to hospital, including an adult female in critical condition. She has since been upgraded to stable condition.
The second victim, a male youth, is in hospital in stable condition.
Police were providing few details on Saturday. The shooting took place at about 4 a.m. The home in the 300 block of Aikins where the shooting took place is cordoned off by police tape while officers continue their investigation.
Police spokesman Const. Jay Murray said the shooting took place at a “get together” and police are talking to several people who were there.
