Winnipeg metal fans will have two concerts to look forward to this fall.
On Oct. 14, Slipknot will play the MTS Centre along with special guests Suicidal Tendences and Beartooth.
Tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster and sell for $38.50 to $90.25.
The video for Slipknot’s latest single, Killpop, has amassed more than seven million views on YouTube and its 2014 album 5: The Gray Chapter earned the band its eighth Grammy nomination.
On Nov. 1, it’ll be Judas Priest’s turn to crank up the volume, as they take the MTS Centre stage.
Tickets for the show, which go on sale Aug. 7 on Ticketmaster, range in price from $39.50 to $82.
The group, fronted by singer Rob Halford, found a huge global following in the 1980s with songs such as Breaking the Law and Screaming for Vengeance. The band will be supporting its latest album, Redeemer of Souls, at the Winnipeg concert.
