The Winnipeg Jets are leading the Arizona Coyotes 2-0 after the first period at Canada Life Centre.

Nikolaj Ehlers opened the scoring at the 4:04 mark of the first period, cashing in on his own rebound, before Adam Lowry made it 2-0 with a short-handed goal at 11:33.

Shots are 10-7 in favour of the Jets.
