Police are looking for suspects after a man and a woman were jumped in Winnipeg’s North End early this morning.
Police say a man, 24, and woman, 33, were walking near Flora Avenue and Salter Street when they were confronted by strangers at about 1:10 a.m. who demanded that they hand over their personal property. They refused and the man was stabbed. He was taken to hospital in stable condition. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Police at 204-986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
