A 24-year-old woman was arrested after getting into a dispute at a house party, leaving the festivities and returning later with a rifle. Police say the incident happened at a house in the 600 block of Flora Avenue at about 3:40 a.m. Patrol members responded to the report of an assault at the home where numerous intoxicated persons were located.
A woman at the party became involved in a dispute causing her to leave the residence. She returned a short time later while concealing a rifle.
Police responded and located the woman. She was arrested and the rifle was seized without incident.
She has been charged with numerous firearm-related offences. She was remanded into custody, police said in a news release.
