One person was taken to hospital after a semi truck collided with a car in Portage La Prairie Wednesday.
Around 1:30 p.m., police responded to the crash, which happened on the Trans-Canada Highway near a Days Inn hotel. One of the vehicles’ occupants was taken to hospital with unknown injuries, said a police news release issued Wednesday evening.
Portage RCMP are still investigating the crash and reminding drivers to be careful in the midst of extra traffic expected this Easter weekend.
