Zach Benson’s unassisted goal 5:16 into the third period lifted the Winnipeg Ice to a 3-2 WHL victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes at Wayne Fleming Arena Wednesday night.

Connor McClennon and Ty Nash also sniped for the hosts, who are 21-2-0-0 and first in the Eastern Conference.

Jett Jones and Miguel Marques replied with goals for the visitors.
