Mark Carney is in Winnipeg today.
The prime minister and Liberal leader arrived in Winnipeg days after Conservative party Leader Pierre Poilievre held a rally near Winnipeg’s international airport Saturday.
Carney was at New Flyer Industries to make an announcement this morning, and will later meet with members of the city’s Filipino community. The Liberal leader’s agenda also includes an afternoon meeting with Premier Wab Kinew and an evening rally with local Liberal candidates and supporters.

The federal election is April 28.
