A matter of record: A spokesman for the Manitoba NDP’s new leader says Wab Kinew was not required to submit letters of reference or attend any hearings in applying for a criminal pardon he was granted in 2016, after he was elected as an MLA. “Wab went through all the normal application procedures,” he says of Kinew.
