Winnipeg police are investigating after a woman was found unresponsive with her children in a car on the 1500 block of Regent Avenue.
When police got to the scene around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, emergency responders were already attending to the woman and two children. Police say the woman went to hospital in stable condition and the children went for precautionary reasons.
The temperature in Winnipeg hovered around 25 C during the time in question.
Police say charges are possible in the matter and Child and Family Services have been notified.
