Hang onto your hats, Winnipeg.
The wind is the story, as a warm but stiff southeast breeze blowing 30 km/h (gusting to 50 km/h) is knocking things around this morning. According to Environment Canada, this wind should start to subside later in the day. Expect showers to start in the afternoon and a high of 16 C. The wet stuff is expected to end later this evening. Tonight’s low is 8 C.
Thursday, look for a mix of sun and cloud in the morning with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. There’s also a risk of a thunderstorm. The high will be around the 14 C mark.
Things will cool off for Friday, with periods of rain and a high of only 8 C expected.
Sunshine and temperatures around 10 C are forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
