A $1-million revamp is on the way for Adsum Park, which will include a new 3,000-square-foot accessible spray pad.

The new project will also feature asphalt pathways, seating areas, fencing, benches, picnic tables, a bike rack, shade structures and upgraded landscaping, with construction slated to begin in spring 2023, the City of Winnipeg said Monday.

The spray pad is expected to open in summer 2024.

The federal government will provide $400,000 for the project, while the province and city will each pay $300,000.
