RCMP are again asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man last seen in 2022.

Murray Courchene of Fort Alexander First Nation last spoke with family members on Dec. 15, 2022 and was reported missing on Jan. 3 of last year. He was 41 at the time.

Powerview RCMP have conducted numerous interviews and ground searches in the Powerview/Pine Falls area.

“Murray Courchene, my son, is missed by me and many others from the community,” his mother, Theresa Courchene, said in an RCMP news release Monday.

“I want to know where he is, and I want to bring him home. Someone has information that can help find him; please call the RCMP and provide them that information.”

Courchene was described as 5-10 in height, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue jeans.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about his disappearance to contact Powerview RCMP at 204-367-8728, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or manitobacrimestoppers.com.

RCMP said in January 2023 that it’s possible Courchene might be in Winnipeg.
