Winnipeg man charged in St. Andrews stabbing

A Winnipeg man has been charged with assault and weapon offences after a man was stabbed north of the city.
Selkirk RCMP were called after a stabbing victim arrived in hospital at about 9:25 p.m. on April 21. An investigation determined the 55-year-old man was with two other adults in the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews when he got into an altercation with one of them and was stabbed.
A 30-year-old Winnipeg man was arrested in the city on Sunday. The victim remained in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries Monday, RCMP said.
