Firefighters douse blaze in empty Magnus Avenue home

Firefighters doused a blaze inside a home on Magnus Avenue on Monday afternoon.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service said crews were called to the two-storey building on the 300 block of the street at about 2:25 p.m., where they found smoke coming from the dwelling.

Firefighters got inside and got the flames under control by about 2:54 p.m. Crews searched the building and found no one inside.
