RCMP search for missing Thompson woman

Mounties in Thompson are searching for a woman who may have information about an alleged assault in the community in April.

RCMP have been trying to contact 20-year-old Raylene Oman about an incident, but efforts to find her have been unsuccessful.

On April 27 around 12:55 p.m. Thompson RCMP received a report of an assault at a home on Cornell Place.

“Officers attended to the location and spoke to several residents but could not substantiate what had occurred earlier that morning,” RCMP said in a news release Wednesday.

RCMP are asking for help locating Oman as she is now believed to be missing. Her whereabouts are unknown but she may have traveled to Winnipeg, the release said.

She’s described as being 5-4, 160 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes.
