Laurent Brossoit stopped all 25 shots he faced as the Winnipeg Jets blanked the Dallas Stars 3-0 on Thursday night.
It’s the fifth straight victory for the club, which is now 49-24-6 on the year. Dallas falls to 50-21-9.
Nikolaj Ehlers, David Gustafsson and Mark Scheifele (into an empty net) scored for Winnipeg, which is a perfect 3-0-0 on this Central Division road trip that ends Saturday in Denver.
The Jets and Colorado Avalanche are tied for second spot and likely to face each other in the first round. Home ice advantage is very much up for grabs, as each team has three games left including the head-to-head. Winnipeg owns the tiebreaker.
