Jacobs leaves Team Carruthers

Team Reid Carruthers announced this morning that Brad Jacobs is leaving.

The import skip from northern Ontario helped Carruthers win the 2024 Manitoba men’s curling provincial title. They went on to reach the playoffs at last month’s Brier after going 7-1 in round-robin play.

Jacobs is expected to take his talents to Alberta to join Marc Kennedy, Brett Gallant, and Ben Hebert who parted ways with skip Brendan Bottcher earlier this week.

Carruthers, second Derek Samagalski, and lead Connor Njegovan are contemplating their options moving forward.
