The Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board’s chief executive has won a prestigious national award for dedication and service.

The Association Executives Network selected Marina James for its award of excellence. The real estate agents organization created the honour in 1989 for members showcasing “outstanding dedication and exemplary service.”

In a Tuesday news release, James said she’s “deeply humbled.” She’d been part of the Canadian Real Estate Association’s association executive committee for three years, beginning in 2017. She chaired the committee in 2018.

Since 2022, James has been a member of the CREA’s environmental, social and governance committee. She chairs the Realtor.ca task force.

The CREA made a donation to East Beaches Animal Services in James’ name.
