Two teens arrested after murder in central Manitoba

Two teen girls have been arrested in connection to a homicide in central Manitoba.

Just before 2 a.m. Saturday Mounties responded to a report of a disturbance at a home in Easterville, Man. where they found a 32-year-old woman in critical condition, a news release said Sunday.

First responders provided emergency care, but the victim died of her injuries.

Officers found a second victim at the home, a 32-year-woman, with non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to a hospital in Winnipeg where she remains in stable condition, Mounties say.

Two teen girls, a 13- and 14-year-old, were arrested and remain in custody. The investigation continues.
