When you think of building a comfortable home you can enjoy for the long term, you might think of a kitchen with ample space to cook a gourmet meal. Or, maybe a place to kick back and watch the game, with room to do a little gaming yourself.

With more than 30 years of experience crafting comfortable homes, Daytona Homes is committed to making your home right for your family and their individual needs. “We have a home model to fit the dynamics of your family, recognizing that different families have different needs. We have floor plans that allow for main floor bedrooms, which are popular with multi-generational families, we have offices or flex spaces which can be used as workspaces, to accommodate the growing number of people working from home.” says Alana Yaren Sales Manager for Daytona Homes, “And, we have started to incorporate prep kitchens into our models, which has been increasingly popular with homeowners” adds Yaren.

Daytona Homes is also committed to providing comfort before you even set foot in your new home.

It starts with the personal connection the company makes with prospective homebuyers.

“When you walk into a Daytona show home, you’re dealing with a Daytona employee,” says Yaren “Our team of Sales Consultants not only know absolutely everything there is to know about our homes, but they’re also experts in the homebuying process. So, you’ve got that depth of expertise, which in itself  is comforting.”

Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or you’ve been through the process before, Daytona Homes aims to make your experience easy and stress free.

Part of that involves being transparent with customers—quite literally. The company makes a regular practice of bringing customers into their homes, to get a behind-the-scenes look before the drywall goes up.

“When do you get an opportunity to see behind the walls of your home?” Yaren asks. “With our pre-drywall tour, we give you the opportunity to see the care that was taken in the construction of your home, and provide peace of mind that the home was constructed according to plan,  before we seal up the walls.”

A week before you take possession,  a member of the Daytona Homes Construction Team will conduct a Home Owner Orientation which will include a walk you through your soon-to-be home again, this time, showing you how to operate and maintain the systems within it.

“If this is your first time owning a house, we’re going to show you how to change a furnace filter,” Yaren says. “We want to be sure you are comfortable with every aspect of operating your home.

At this Home Orientation,  you will also have the opportunity to identify any items that need correction, or are uncomplete.

“We proactively look for deficiencies,” says Yaren. “We don’t shy away from them. We will aim to get all corrected for you by possession day.”

The company will do another check-in once you’ve been living in your home for a month

“There are going to be things you didn’t notice until you moved in,” Yaren says. “Now that you’re in the home, you’re flushing the toilets, you’re opening the windows. We’ll come back and address any issues you’re having

It’s measures like these that bring comfort to the buyer, just knowing their builder is looking out for them.

“We are here for you, throughout your homebuying and homeownershipjourney,” says Yaren. “Our relationship with you doesn’t end when you sign a purchase agreement. It doesn’t end when you take possession. When you build with Daytona, we like to say you become part of the Daytona family. We are here with you all the way.”
